Lori Kozlowski is an author, published poet, and journalist.

She has written about various topics ranging from graffiti to growing businesses, the evolution of blue jeans to the disintegration of blues songs.

She currently works for the Los Angeles Times.

Ms. Kozlowski is a graduate of the University of Southern California’s Master of Professional Writing Program.

June 28, 2008 A Night of Noir, presented by the University of Southern California Master of Professional Writing Alumni Association, Jethro Nededog and Lori Kozlowski, in conjunction with Akashic Books. Las Vegas Noir and Los Angeles Noir writers meet up and face off to find out which city produces darker fiction. Writers include: Denise Hamilton, Tod Goldberg, Christine McKellar, Gary Phillips, Jim Pascoe, Emory Holmes II, and Lori Kozlowski. October 13 & 27, 2007 Writers in Residence at Open Books in Long Beach, CA. Writers Lori Kozlowski, Rachel Levin, Jethro Nededog, and Glen Golightly take over this quaint bookstore to present an interactive literary experience.
